Faith Nelson-Tibuah is currently in her third year of a master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University.  She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters in International Development and Social Change. Faith is also a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor (CAADC). Faith has worked in the counseling field for 12+ years, serving as a drug and alcohol counselor, clinical team lead and currently as a Clinical Supervisor in a drug and alcohol treatment program for incarcerated males. 

Faith is a people’s person. She’d describe herself as a professional encourager. Her passion is supporting individuals in their journey for wellness. With diverse experience in counseling individuals with substance dependency, teen moms and crisis intervention, Faith enters every session with an unbiased and compassionate attitude- looking to create a safe atmosphere for clients to express themselves. She uses a warm person-centered approach, promoting everyone’s ability to overcome everything.
